Existing clients’ numbers will be ported to 13-digits beginning from October 1, 2018. The due date for finishing of the same has been set for December 31, 2018.
“The mandate from DoT had gone ahead January 8, 2018, post which we began take a shot at it,” said a senior BSNL official.
The telecom administrator additionally stated, “It is chosen that 13-digit M2M (Machine-to-machine) numbering design will be actualized from July 1, 2018.
From this date onwards, all new M2M versatile associations will be designated 13-digit numbers as it were… Movement of existing 10-digit M2M numbers will begin most recent by 1 October 2018 and might be finished by 31 December 2018.”
